Darkness Therapy Facilitation
A 12-week, online, certified training for mental health professionals who wish to safely support client-led darkness immersion.
What is Darkness Therapy?
Darkness therapy is a variant of Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy (REST) in which clients spend extended time in complete darkness within a structured therapeutic framework.
Immersions typically last 3–5 days, though they may be as short as 3 hours or extend over weeks or months.
Facilitators help clients plan and prepare, offer periodic check-ins during the immersion, and support integration of the experience into everyday life.
